Ми — Олена та Гастон. Вона родом з України, я — з Уругваю, а зараз ми живемо в Іспанії. Ми познайомилися тут у 2019 році, коли працювали в магазині одягу. Іноді нам здається, що доля звела нас там, хоча ми ще не знали, що через роки разом створимо власний бренд. Відтоді ми разом прожили багато історій і подорожей. Ми не раз були разом в Уругваї, а також подорожували Україною, відкриваючи та заново пізнаючи місця, традиції й коріння, які є частиною нашої історії. OYG народився з нашої спільної історії та коріння. Ми хочемо знайомити людей із товарами з України та Уругваю, поважаючи походження кожного з них і розповідаючи їхні історії. Для нас це більше, ніж проєкт, який ми створюємо разом. Це спосіб ділитися культурами й історіями, частиною яких є наше життя, через товари, ідеї та книги, які я написав.
We are Olena and Gastón. She is from Ukraine, I am from Uruguay, and we now live in Spain. We met here in 2019 while working in a clothing store. Sometimes we think destiny brought us together there, without knowing that years later we would be building our own brand. Since then, we have shared a life full of stories and travels. We have visited Uruguay together more than once and have also travelled to Ukraine, discovering and rediscovering the places, traditions and roots that are part of our story. OYG was born from our shared story and our roots. We want to bring products from Ukraine and Uruguay closer to others, respecting the origin of each one and sharing the story behind them. For us, this is more than a project we are building together. It is a way to share the cultures and stories that are part of our lives through products, ideas and also the books I have written.
Somos Olena y Gastón. Ella es de Ucrania, yo soy de Uruguay y hoy vivimos en España. Nos conocimos aquí en 2019, trabajando en una tienda de ropa. A veces pensamos que fue el destino el que nos puso allí, sin saber que años después estaríamos creando juntos nuestra propia marca. Desde entonces hemos compartido una vida llena de historias y también de viajes. Hemos estado juntos en Uruguay en más de una ocasión y también hemos viajado a Ucrania, descubriendo y redescubriendo los lugares, las costumbres y las raíces que forman parte de nuestra historia. OYG nace de esa historia compartida y de nuestras raíces. Queremos acercar a otras personas productos de Ucrania y Uruguay, respetando el origen de cada uno y contando lo que hay detrás de ellos. Para nosotros no es solamente un proyecto que hacemos juntos. Es una forma de compartir las culturas y las historias que forman parte de nuestra vida, a través de productos, ideas y también los libros que escribí.
